That cashback requires you to shop through their link which would negate your Amex credit. The Amex OOMA promotion link for the $75 leads you to 3 OLD OOMA products. Yes? I want a system that is completely wireless and it appears the OOMA Telo 2 HD does that.

Information on your post are all wrong. jaTaN and myself, probably other users too got Amex credit and cash back already, you need to wait a bit for the cash back, but it did come if you do it right.

Not sure what you talking about OLD OOMA products, I got Telo Air.

Yes I did, but remember Tax on the $80 purchase minus the $75 Amex credit amounts to $10.50 cost.

Same question as someone previously asked.
I want to order to get the device but don't want to activate it. I also don't want to be charged any additional monthly fee or something. Can someone explain how to do it?

I only want to use Amex offer + any CB from other sites and resell the device in marketplace.

No monthly fees as long as you don't activate the device/service. I purchased mine just in case my Obi200 stops working with Google Voice in the near future.

In case you're interested - I swapped my Obi200 service to voip.ms and it works great. Very inexpensive too.

I've been looking into options of where to switch my VOIP service to should my Obi200 stop working with Google voice also. Good to hear you've had good luck with voip.ms - you say it's inexpensive so I assume it would be cheaper than Ooma? I'll have to dig into this a little further. I still might pick up this Ooma deal especially if I can get the cb to work so it's a money maker. Cheap insurance I guess if Google voice quits working.

I don't use my home line all that often but it's 85 cents per month for my DID. Usage is .009 cents per min - rounded to the nearest 10 seconds I believe. E911 is an additional $1.50 per month but I don't currently have it enabled. I typically spend less than $2 per month.

Has anyone successfully gotten the $75, in addition to the $55 cash back, or is it a risk? I don't want to negate the $75 credit I'd receive and some comments suggest that this will happen.
