Thank you, this is perfect timing! I need to sand a small subfloor and almost bought a crappy sander from Harbor Freight. This will fit much better in my Ryobi cabinet!

Honestly for something like that a corded sander would be much better. I would even look into renting a floor sander from home Depot.

you can kind of recreate the deal with factory blemished items in DTO. gets to the same price for the two units, however, you need to add the $15 shipping on top of it. might be worth it if you were already getting stuff from that sale.

yes that's true, I got my Ryobi square sander at DTO store when it existed at National Harbor, MD too sad it closed. Now the shipping is a turn off unless it is a very good item special.

Keep an eye on their deal of the day sales. Seems like that comes through about once a month. I know I've seen it multiple times since the start of the year because I've almost picked it up.

last time i bought this deal from home depot, they immediately shipped the sandpaper and never sent the sander after a month of waiting. they did this the past three times i've ordered a deal from slickdeals, they take over a month and never ship.
their terms say they will auto-cancel an order if it's on backorder for over 30 days, but they never do
they just hope you forget about it and they get to keep your money

home depot is farking horrible to order from online

Yes and yes HD has multi packs of 5" diablo sanding pads use 120 grit or less for cabinets and 60 grit for drywall. Good sander at a great price!

I got this from a DTO in-store deal with a belt sander. It's decent and of course there's better. But for general use, I would recommend it.

Did a little digging around and found the square version for the same price. Been looking for this one for corners and to refinish the cabinets. YMMV but Home Depot won't price match their online version because different model names.
