Just saying - wasn't that a refurb with 90 day warranty?

Evo Plus is a pretty warm drive. The Hynix P31 is the drive to get; the 1TB drive has been sitting at about $60. Alternatively, any of the newer DRAM-less drives are pretty good too.

Hynix is as good and is a better choice for low heat operating temperature.

Was able to use 2 $5 coupons and got it down to $31; arrived, installed and it was basically new with zero power on hours

This a few generations old now and PCIe 3.0
The newest version is the 990 Pro which is a PCIe 4.0 drive and the 980 Pro is also 4.0 just slightly slower than the newer 990 pro and a bit less efficent/older. There is also a 980 non pro that is a dram less pcie 3.0 nvme they make.
As always though check what kind of nvme slot you have if you want to upgrade and make sure its a gen 4 slot if you get a gen 4 drive. If its a gen 3 slot and you get a gen 4 drive it will still work but just capped at gen 3 max speeds.

I just bought some refurb Dell Optiplex 7060's with the i5 and put this in each for some new workstations at work. Blazing fast for our use case.
