It should be cheaper IMO. These are the competition https://reolink.com/product/e1-outdoor-poe/ , https://reolink.com/product/rlc-830a/ . There was an earlier version of the E1 Outdoor that had issues. I haven't heard any complaints about the new version though. I have E1 Zooms that work well as pet cams and a TrackMix POE in my driveway that is my favorite IP cam.

It's not PoE like the OP so it's not really competition
from a image capture in low light simplistic view:
Larger sensor = better ... so you want to compare what you are looking for.
( this particular model seems better than most of the cheap PT cameras posted here .. still if you need a better one than this you will need to pay more for an even larger sensor )

yet, in terms of competition the statement : "It should be cheaper IMO. These are the competition - Reolink Product - "
just like the YUGO car is a competitor vs Toyotas, Hondas, .. honestly I do not want a YUGO car ..
Reolink has small sensors and cheaper components to keep the prices down ..
This is why Reolink does not do very well in low light conditions.
