Wish it was hackable. As-is, it's not any cheaper than the other deal for $170.

I know this isn't constructive but can someone explain to me why this thing is so expensive? It seems like a large battery light to me. Are you just paying for the Milwaukee name / convenience of battery system?

I feel like I could buy a couple of these and be better off: https://www.costco.com/feit-elect...06182.html - $39 in store too.

This is $10 cheaper at OPT, but if you prefer HD / need it sooner then this deal is great as well.

Too bad home Depot isn't offering the dual pack tower light with a 12.0 like opt is. 700 for a light is just too much.

Milwaukee is meant for trade professional, it's built tougher and durable. That Costco light wouldn't last a week in a real job site.

I love Milwaukee stuff, but yeah - some of their stuff is pricy. But it's built to be robust, and it's nice battery wise if you already have a bunch of Milwaukee batteries. That said, I feel like even at $180 this should be able to charge the battery off AC & have some USB-C input/output too.
