Was looking around at Wal-Mart for the ~$40 Corsair keyboard deal posted the other day and saw this for $20 on clearance. 4 left so I scooped them up for everyone in our home. Think the kiddos will like the upgrade quite a bit. Don't see how to post my receipt, and haven't posted in quite some time, how I'm doing it right.

If you can tolerate speed keys, then this is a deal. I tried speed keys and it was typo city for me. I do work and gaming on the same PC. After a week of constantly hitting backspace to correct "wsatrrasnmtry" into "warranty" it had to go back. The *tiniest* press will activate the key. If you were trained to rest your fingers on asdf jkl; to type like we old farts were, this isn't your keyboard.

I am an old fart and can agree. If anything regular reds are a bit on the light side for me.
Apparently I'm in the minority since most keyboards are trending away from the heavy keys.

Agreed. I got the $40 Strafe with the grey keys. It's way light for my liking, but it does require a press. This means no typos. That's good with me. For $40 and having wanted to complete my Corsair setup for almost a year without spending $100+ on a keyboard, I'm happy with it. I'm more a clicky or brown guy myself.
If you're already heading to Walmart check out the Onn mechanical gaming keyboard. It uses blue(loud/clicky) switches if you like those and my Walmart had it on clearance for $10. it's better if you prefer the TKL layout, and so far I haven't had any issues with it.

I actually like the Speeds that I use on my main work-from-home & gaming PC. No typing issues.
My "other" Mechs are now browns and I will probably not replace them. I did seek something lighter than my OG Mech, CM with black keys, as prolonged sessions, would hurt my fingers, and that was in my mid 30s...
So, there you go, ppls vary a lot =)
