TB4 and USB-C may LOOK similar but have different standards of data transfer, power, pin mappings, etc. TB is the protocol that transfers data and enables features such as Power Delivery. TB3/4 and USB 3.2/1/0 are protocols that define how data/power travels over USB-C connections. Just wanted to clarify that bit to reduce confusion.

okay but still doesn't change the fact that the usb c connector works exactly like a usb port when you plug a usb c device in
