I have the camera. The AF is totally fine. The stabilization is digital but decent. Definitely not as good as an IBIS system but it's a great camera. I'd highly recommend it at this price
I have two of these cameras and they are quite amazing for the form factor. A perfect little travel camera, webcam and secondary. For birding/wildlife, I'll walk around with a G9 with 100-400mm and this guy as a secondary with something like a 8mm f/1.8 or 56mm f/1.4 prime depending on my mood.
What I will say is that buying this used is optimal.
This is designed specifically for vlogging, however, hope you don't have a lot to say on camera because the 4k video has a 10 minute limit.
If you want a small camera that can do 4k video recording without limits, the Lumix GX9 is a better choice, but doesn't have the fully articulating screen.

Auto Focus and stabilization is horrible.

I'm looking for a camera to take vids of my son's baseball games. I've been using a GoPro but the I can't zoom in on him while fielding. Would this work?
Detest that all of the product shots are vlogging. Seems so self-absorbed.
Welcome to the modern era. Everyone wants validation and thinks that what they do is important, from brushing their teeth to folding a fitted sheet. It's a pandemic of emotional insecurity. People are forgetting how to live in the moment. Go to a public event and watch how people record everything but don't take time to appreciate the actual experience. Go to a restaurant and watch people spend more time taking pictures of food than enjoying it. Little kids are constantly asking parents to take pictures of mundane things like their mediocre LEGO creations, and they need to pose for shots. Candids are dead, but those capture the most depth. Sorry, rant over.

32mm is barely zoom at all. It would work fine if you had a better telephoto lens, but that's an extra expense. Honestly I'd look on the used market for a DSLR that comes with multiple lenses, you'll get more flexibility at a good value if it's only something you'll use occasionally. Plus at any zoom level, the stabilization on this won't work well.
