Banks are falling apart from bad treasuries values and trying to get money, this offer reeks of desperation. Be cautious, after you put your money in they might be in the news headlines and you'll be praying for a fed bailout to get your money back. Unless you have under $250k then you will be FDIC insured
Please provide a link or two to support this claim.
Or does all $5,000 have to be via ACH?
Funny thing is, the way I had originally wrote that last part that you quoted got me a "urlblocked" because of the way I had constructed it. Doing a little research, I discovered a whole new world of discount shopping on social media that I never would have otherwise known about. Finally, a reason to get an Instagram account. Thanks mods!!

I tried getting in on an similar dealer few months ago but I was not able to electronically deposit funds from outside account other than the initial $100 deposit.
Attempts to transfer amounts as low as $300 over ACH would actually be rejected by US Bank. Eventually I just moved on and canceled the account.
account, and can't create online access. Called US Bank business services and account number didn't even register in their system and to try again another day. Is this just a waste of time?
I'll take 45% of effectively 60% interest on my deposit over 45% of 0-1% interest on that same deposit.
What's your alternative- Either gamble on the stock market or stick it under your mattress or get a tax free bond of 5-10%? Confused what the problem of this offer is for you.

Opened my account 5/3, have already loaded up the account with $15k, haven't received a single piece of paper or ATM card from them yet, have no idea what my account number is and can't activate online/app yet. Kinda dodgy so far.
The highest tax bracket is 37%, which starts at income over $578,126. That means you'll pay a total of $174,238.25 (sum of all the lower brackets) plus 37% of any amount over $578,125. You are not paying 37% of all the money you earned. See below:
Sample income: $600,000
37% income bracket starting amount: $578,126
Subtract the two to see the income taxed at 37%: $600,000 - $578,126 = $21,874. Multiply this amount by 37% to get $8,093.38. Add this amount to the existing tax liability of $174,238.25 to get a total tax liability of $182,331.63 from an income of $600,000. That means you are being taxed 30.39% for every dollar you earn with that income, not 37%. I'm not going to calculate the state taxes, but the outcome will be similar.
Then again, I'm not the one flexing my income on a thread about earning a $500-$750 checking account bonus. Sounds like that's just a couple hours of work for you anyways lol.
He's saying every dollar of the bonus is at that marginal rate. Begs the question, if he's making that much then his time is worth far more than the time it would take to make the few hundred dollars made here, and the tax MAYBE puts the effort in range of his calculated hourly "wage". Or he's full of it.
