Opened the account on 5/12/23.
15k deposited by 5/17/23.
I deposited an extra 2.5k by 6/6/23 (I wanted to be extra sure, since I originally deposited 2.5k via zelle as part of the 15k and wasn't sure if it would count).
Service charge of $6 on 7/17/23 (for paper statements). Luckily I had extra 2.5k buffer so this didn't bring me below 15k.
Refunded $6 service charge on 7/19/23.
Received $750 bonus on 8/8/23.
Overall, I have no complaints, everything went smoothly, never ran into any problems funding the account (used both push, pull, and zelle), or problems with missing account number (I was able to see my account number the day I opened the account by logging in online/mobile).
Details:
For funding, I did 6k "pull" during the initial US Bank opening steps, from my capital one account.
I then linked my capital one account to my US bank account (takes a few days, have to confirm micro deposits)
I did two separate 2.5k "pull" transfers through US bank website/mobile. (2.5k max each transfer).
I did one 4k "push" transfer through my capital one website (4k+? max)
I did one 2.5k zelle transfer. (2.5k max each transfer) Basically I pointed my zelle registered phone number to US bank, then pointed my zelle registered email to my capital one account, then transferred from my email to my phone number. The US Bank CSR recommended this way to transfer funds.
I have a business that uses my own social security number. I have reported taxes the last two years for this business. It is a very simple sole proprietor business that I had to use since I was selling random things on ebay.
Did you use a business ID to open your account or your own SS number? thanks
I brought in a cashier's check from another bank.

Just got the 500 today, so about an extra week after the 60 days

I wish I had a branch next to me. Many of my troubles might not have occurred. i would have had a POC to talk to in person when my account was flagged. Since I do not have a local bank, my account reviews are done by a distant location that I can not contact directly. today, someone hinted that my account might have been closed bc they couldn't verify a business under my name. That could be the case, but I wish there was someone to provide some clear answers.
Opened account 5/11 with $500
Transferred $1,500 from my Chase on 5/22
Transferred $4,000 from USAA on 6/5 (Yes, I know more than needed, but I needed it all in one place to pay off a CC)
7/10 was 60 days
8/8 Received $500 bonus

Did you use US Bank app to pull the money from Chase and USAA? Or did you use USAA and Chase app to push money to US Bank? Is US Bank local to you?
