I just wanted to open a business checking account and found this out.

Once I was logged into my account, I asked if the promotion is valid on my account. Rep checked, saw a promotion linked to my application. Then I was told this promotion is being advertised by "some sites" on google and is NOT a valid US BANK promo code.
For this reason they won't be able to honor the promotion.
I thanked the representative (for saving me the trouble of hoping and waiting 2 months) and disconnected the call. Took 40 minutes.
Planning to transfer my money back to the source account and then close this one.
Lesson learnt - never attempting another US BANK account application again.
I opened the account Jun 9th. $5100 posted on June 14th. It is 63 days in from opening and still no bonus.
I called them today and they were honest in saying it will post by about day 90. This eats into the expected bonus interest estimates. I am curious if any found this in their small print? Or just plain lies from USBank?
I have no plans on keeping my funds in there after the bonus posts. I am hoping it will be on August 13th/14th.

If you read the terms and conditions carefully, it could be up to 135 days (90+45) to get the bonus .
Also, many posters also got the bonus $750 before 90 days

There is no such requirement for closing accounts, you can close account at any time. Many SDs closed their accounts before getting bonus after losing confidence

Yea i need to call them because i didn't get my bonus either
USBank has treated me well since I was in college. Only reason I stopped banking with them was because their savings weren't paying much and I didn't want separate banks for check/savings.
I funded the account during the initial process, now a week later the funds are now partially deposited ($3k partially out of a 1 time transfer $15k), they are now stating that because only partial of the deposit is shown as verified they are unable to give me my account number as it is per their "policy"..
It highly feels like they are just making stuff up on the fly.
I asked to speak to a supervisor and that it also be noted that I am calling in to manually request that I want paperbilling turned off.. he said he would put in request to have a supervisor call me, then put me on hold while he said he would try to do disable the paper billing.. after a 5 minute hold he came back and said his manager gave him approval to give me my account number over the phone. Quite an ordeal.
