Just loosen the brakes so that they only have enough to slow down the bike not lock the wheel.

Seems like a good price for a well-reviewed bike on Amazon. Currently going for $135 over there. Thanks OP

Got one for my boy. Holding up well after a month. Had to get aftermarket training wheels as they don't come with the bike

Bike is of very good quality. Bought it last time.
But the 14 inch is very small, recommend going with 18. I went with 14 due to training wheels, but I used exactly like 10 minutes before finding out the training wheel is just about the worst thing when it comes to teach someone how to bike.

This bike has great ergonomics for kids. The only downside is the frame weight which at 20lbs (for the 14") is twice as a heavy as a comparable Woom Bike (But 1/4 the price).

It's excellent for a kid who can already ride but the weight might make it intimidating for a smaller/lighter kid as it will hurt a lot more when it inevitably falls on them during a spill.

When kids start going faster the front brakes will cause accidents. My kid flipped off his schwinn bike trying to brake recently. Spend a bit more on a bike with rear and front brakes. Coaster brakes are terrible for quick braking situations since they just lock the rear wheel.

You automatically think since it says Segway that this is a motorized bike but yet it's just a crappy bike by a company that's been bought by the Chinese.

I think you got this wrong. This bike is actually using Aluminum frame and is very light.

You are right. Thank you. I updated my comment accordingly.

It is still twice the weight of comparable Woom Bike (I know because I have both for my son)

You can't loosen a coaster brake. It just stops the chain from rotating which locks the rear wheel.

I was referring to the front brakes

are coaster brakes pedal brakes? Used to love whipping my back tire around with them.
