People... Please resist this low end crap. It ends up on the curb and in landfills fast than you think. It's easy to get sucked into cheap and disposable, try to resist.
Bought it 2 years ago, lasts long but overall much below standard quality.

What do you suggest? Starting a WFH job in two weeks and need to replace my wooden chair with something I can sit in for 40 hours a week.

Thanks OP. I have placed the order.
Common an office chair for $59 with decent reviews, and excellent return policy…except some negatives from SD users 😀.

I would'nt suggest this chair for WFH. This chair is good for kids, and occasional use for petite people. Costco has Lazboy chair that seams nice. They usually have a sample on the floor at costco you can try out. If you want a little gaming flare, then their DPS chair is nice! These two brands should be better for your WFH.

I'm sitting on this exact chair right now as I type this. I've had it for maybe 9 months. So far so good. Maybe my butt isn't as picky as others' or something, because I'd buy it again.

Staples hyken. On sale now and then for 140. Has adjustable height, arm rest, limited neck and lumbar support. It's the entry to entry level real chairs if steel case, Herman millers are the end game.

Exactly what were you doing on this chair? Costco usually previews all potential new products on their "open Wednesday." Although Costco isn't perfect (who is?), despite their limited choices, they tend to carry better-than-average made products at lower-than-average prices. Unless you received a defective seat, how heavy or large-frame are you? It's like me saying my Costco shoes wore out so fast but not stating that I am about 350 lbs and wear the same sneakers everyday, and walk extensively on asphalt, delivering heavy furniture. Pertinent details always help us make better-qualified and more intelligent decisions on the products we are interested in. Just saying.
