People... Please resist this low end crap. It ends up on the curb and in landfills fast than you think. It's easy to get sucked into cheap and disposable, try to resist.

Bought it 2 years ago, lasts long but overall much below standard quality.

What do you suggest? Starting a WFH job in two weeks and need to replace my wooden chair with something I can sit in for 40 hours a week.
I've been doing WFH for years and a good chair makes a huge difference. I've tried the gaming chairs and they become so uncomfortable and a lot are made very cheaply and just don't hold up.
I recently replaced them with this from Costco: https://www.costco.com/la-z-boy-m...30606.html

It's $149 in stores, it's definitely not the best or highest-end by any means, but for the cheap chairs, it's very comfortable, sturdy and I've had no problem using it for 12+ hours per day. With the Costco warranty, it's easy to return if it doesn't end up working out and the stores have them in stock to try.

I do recommend replacing the wheels on any chair with the rollerblade style ones, but that's an easy $10-20 fix.

Everyone is concerned about build quality and long term use of this chair should know: this is a task chair. They are meant to be smaller, lightweight, movable, etc. They are not designed to be used for 8 hours straight for some WFH folks. You need to invest in a $500 to $2,000 chair.

This is a task chair and is not really designed for daily abuse.

This is a good chair IMO. I have the older version for my bedroom and just bought this for my office.

The quality isn't as good as it was but it's still ok. You can find a coupon for $50 off and the cash back sites for 15% more. I ended up getting this for around $210 plus tax.

I used to work in the industry and this company as well as similar ones all use the same Chinese manufacturer. The only thing unique is they provide a design they would like made. These all fall apart within 1-2 years and usually just after the warranty. These cheap chairs are comfortable for the first month but will still look good for more than a year. You can probably return these after the warranty ends but my opinion is that it is better to spend the money to get a quality chair.
