Thoughts? I have two 8 year olds who are 4'6", their old bikes need upgrading but I'm hesitant to spend significantly on something they will outgrow in a few years.

These any good? They seem too "cheap". I can spend 2x-3x more, but not sure the buck is worth the bang for around the neighborhood and maybe light trail riding.

My 10 year old is almost ready for her next bike, and replacing bikes every 3 years for 3 kids get expensive fast. I'm looking forward to getting them something more permanent and better made/equipped as they get bigger.

A bike this size should last them until they grow to 5'2". I am 5'2" and a 24" inch was a smidge too small for commuting. 26" is a smidge too large but it is what it is lol. Get the good bikes when they've finished growing imo.
