https://www.aarp.org/membership/b...4%20months.
0.1% rate bump for 24 months for AARP members. Membership is $12 a year and you can cancel after a year, and it should still continue the 0.1% rate bump in year two.
This deal is useful if you bank with Marcus already. I wouldn't open their savings account just to get this 0.1% bump.
Here is the real deal/method to get this bump for free/at a profit:
Multiple rebate sites offer $5-$15 rebate for joining AARP for only a year. $12.60 for the rebate site I used.
BofA credit card should have AARP rebate ($8) for offer CC-holders. I used a BofA one for $8 rebate
Net $20.60 - $12 = $8.60 profit plus 0.1% rate bump for 24 months. AARP membership is free, but I'm not sure what I've used this for in the past.
May not be worth your time unless you have good amount of cash, but this is SD.. free $10+ is worth the 10-minute signup

I have used Marcus before especially with their $100 bonus on $10K recently, and they are OK, But with a settlement account at Vanguard yielding over 5% lately, it isn't all that great.
