This is true, but if you are in the ecosystem already, this is a great deal for flexibility. This little speaker is what my wife uses to listen to music while bathing and then she can take it off the charger to keep listening in our closet. I actually think I like these little roam units more than the One as I can grab it to take it outside while grilling or working in the garage. I still use the Ones, 5 and Beam for immersion, but these are great to link to your Sonos environment and always have a charged speaker available.

A way I've found to get a better idea on if your local Costco has any of these YMMV deals is to try and buy the item using Costco Same-Day (instacart) delivery. This is available for $112.97 based on delivery to my home address, but unavailable delivered to my work address. That price likely includes Instacart's markup so I'm more inclined to make a visit to my Costco to see if it's available in-store, but now I know it's likely there. I'm not sure exactly what Costco it pulls from and how to tell if you're near a bunch, but there is only one near me.

I have other Sonos products and they work great for me.

I'd like to get this so my kids can play music when they play basketball in the front drive. They don't have phones so being able to tell this speaker what to play is a nice feature.

It only furthers my conviction that Sonos is all marketing. Sonos is today what bose was in the 90s. And the astroturfing on SD is beyond real.
So what small $99 bt speaker can do everything that this does only better and I would be right there ready to by it …….

We have one and it's great for kids rooms. Excellent sound and fullness in a smaller setting. Bonus that you can take them on a trip and with 2 you can pair them in stereo mode. Sonos really nailed it imo.
