I had the same, I tried insoles, wraps, custom inserts, nothing worked, then I did deep standing calf stretches for 30-60 seconds, 3 sets a day for about 2 weeks and the pain went away. Now I do the stretches a couple times a week and haven't had any flair ups in two years.
Last year I had ankle problems for a couple of months. I'm sure it's not the last time. I'm getting these to have on hand. They're cheap and will be immediately available.
These tout "effectively stabilizes joints" and "full range of motion," so they basically cancel each other out thus these are good for nothing more than placebo and maybe some blood circulation issues.

These do almost nothing for the joints, this is essentially a slightly tight toeless sock

Exactly. SD shills this crap all the time which has a huge amount of fake reviews. But there are suckers born every minute, and many of them thumb up these "deals."
