No... I got one from Amazon last week in used like new condition (10-Core CPU, 16-Core GPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB) for $1,603 after tax, and the warranty was expired in Jan 2023. But it had the original box and shrink rap on with 1 battery cycle count.

How is 1 battery cycle count possible ?? Does that mean it was refurbished by apple or previous owner installed a new battery?

I really do not know, but the only explanation I could think of was that the previous owner probably bought it from Amazon, set it up and used it for a day or two, and then sent it back to Amazon. When I got it the battery was completely dead so I charged it and set it up and then I checked the battery health. It was 100% healthy and normal with only 2 cycle count.
