Probably a little better deal IMO. Ryzen 5 instead of Ryzen 7, but it's got a 300 nit touch screen vs the 250 nit non touch in OP's post, and it's 16" vs 14".

Plus, it's a little cheaper @ 529.99. Buy yourself an extra 8 GB stick of RAM off Amazon for $20, and you'll be at the same $549 price as OP's post.

Also, you can sign up for email notifications with Dell to get a 10% off coupon.

Linked deal is showing $500. I don't notice any spec changes. Seems like a pretty solid deal if you want the 14" form factor.

Always have a hard time deciding between 14 and 16 inch. 16 is bulkier but easier on the eyes, 14 is portable but sometimes you feel like needing a bigger screen but not too much bulk.

Hmmm

This processor is based on Zen 3 architecture, unlike some "7000 series" processors that still use Zen 2. (With the 7000 series laptop processors, the third digit indicates the architecture, e.g., 7320U is a Zen 2 chip.)

I have last years Inspiron, the laptop performance is good but their touchpads are awful. Sometimes they are so erratic that double finger scroll registers as 3 fingers scroll. Single click sometimes works as context click. Its annoying, I would probably never buy another inspiron for this reason.
