Most are all pre-orders. Can they just have these ready for shipping before selling them? Lol

ooh nice, I like that these are starting to pop up with DDR5 now.
Not sure how much that matters, but can't hurt.

Anybody know who makes the 2x gigE NICs?

99% sure all the internal chipsets are Intel... except audio. That's always Realtek. lol

The Beelink N100 comes with 16gb ddr4/500gb ssd ($239 - $40 clickable coupon) https://www.amazon.com/Beelink-MI...EW0P2&th=1

The N95 version is cheaper still, higher TDP (15w) but otherwise very similar performance. I'd have to get an n100 to do killawatt testing but it's not a big draw.

The Beelink uses realtek for the GBE nics, and an intel wifi device. Also has space for a single 2.5 and one nvme. Memory speeds won't matter much in this performance segment, though if you are specifically getting it for doing memory-intensive work on this, it would probably be better to get one with ddr5.

This seems like a decent machine with a passmark score well above 5000. Might even make a decent OPNSense or PfSense box. Especially if the NICs use Intel chips.;

Yeah agree. But whats your use case where you need more than 16gb ram on a 4 core Celeron? Also, seems that the N100 maxes out at 16gb ram. So if if wasn't soldered, you couldn't upgrade it anyways.

any of these mini units decent for gaming (red dead redemption or similar)at a reasonable price?
These are NOT for gaming. They are very good for video (HTPC) / web surfing / word processing (office PC), but these have very rudimentary graphics properties. You really need a discrete graphics card, and you won't find that in a mini-PC like this. Also, any mini-PC with integrated graphics that *might* let you game at low settings is going to be priced double this.

The exact specs without SSD are $135 in Aliexpress, a name-brand Topon. For the extra 65 USD, you can get a 1tb SSD. or 2tb if you get a deal.

Yeah, these n100 and n305s are significantly better prices on AE. Of course there is the "time" tax. However, this is a pre-order; it makes more sense to just buy from AE.
