My 2 cents, Hisense = Kia or hyundai and Sony = Honda or Toyota in build quality. Sony has the the better color processor and upscaling, while Hisense is only has 8bit processing. Hisense does give you more goodies for the price, but build quality is suspect from all the reviews I read. I would lean towards the Sony x90 at the $999 or below price But I may be biased as I am currently using a Sony1080p 65" that is around 10 years old(Have had zero problems with it). OLED is the way to go, but I watch too much business channels and sport shows so OLED burn in kills those for me
To an extent, But I have ticker symbols and sports headlines scrolling across my tv for around 8 to 12 hours a day. Pretty much rules me out on the OLEDs . My ultimate goal is to score an x95 Sony for aroun $1400, but that might be a pipe dream in the 65" arena
They hit their "normal" price of $999 every couple weeks or so. $899 would be a slick deal on the x90. Maybe when the new models start hitting the shelves it will happen, but then I will want one of those instead and the waiting game will continue. Hence, Why I still have a 10 year old Sony

That's the price I paid a couple of weeks ago. That seems to be final sale price for a new X90CK. Looking back on last years X90J sale prices, the lowest it went was 920 not including YMMV manager specials.
I don't notice the blooming issue many write about and the contrast is amazing. Viewing angles are poor being a VA panel. Other than that, I'm fairly satisfied with the purchase.
There is a known issue with the wifi on these TVs requiring them to be unplugged/restarted often. Wish I had known this before I bought one.
It also has several safety features like screen move. It slightly moves the screen a little bit over time. It's completely unnoticeable. It also has optional logo dimming and a pixel cleanup that happens automatically when you turn the TV off after every 4 hours of accumulated use (or you can manually activate it if needed). I have a C2 that I got last November. I have 2,000 hours on it. Many of those hours are the TV being left on an idle image. I do a mixture of gaming and movies. Primarily gaming. I have it on for hours on end, every day. If I don't have plans, that thing is on all day. I'm not the slightest bit worried about burn-in.
It's time for talk of burn-in to stop. People keep spreading misinformation or old info on it, without knowing what they're talking about. There are so many articles on why burn-in isn't a something to worry about anymore. To be clear, I don't mean you're spreading misinformation, but because of other people's misinformation, it led you to be concerned about burn-in.
