Wonder if this is just a scam either to get emails, or put malware on computers. I personally wouldn't enter either a credit card or my phone number unless I was certain this was a legitimate organization. Of course, always use an email you'd be fine with getting a lot of spam to.

If all you want is to learn CPR without CEUs, there are other free online videos.

For those having issues, I tried with cognito mode and it works.
Most of our Facilities in the state only takes ACLS from AHA. Maybe this is good for other states of for jobs that does not deals direct contact with patients?
I was able to trick the registration with [email protected], [email protected], etc.

The traditional ACLS is sponsored by the AHA. But some places might not specifically require AHA, or at least the people checking might not check that it's AHA approved. Doing everything online was convenient enough for me to just try it once (I paid for lifetime certification) and it went through. The people in credentialing simply don't care enough to check that closely. Then again, I'm almost certainly never going to be the one trying to run a code, and I've been through enough hands on CPR training that I feel what I already know is enough for a situation outside the hospital.

It doesn't look like it's AHA. I wonder if my state's EMSA would recognize these certs. Could at least take it for free CEUs.

No. Hospitals wont accept these. I got one of these BS certs for PALS that was guaranteed, and first travel job I applied said no AHA no jobby job. Was a PITA getting my money back too. A least this is free. Dont waste your time if you need it for work...

Guess I'll be doing this for fun. My hospital only accepts AHA ACLS with contact hours. Either way great find!

I wanted to take CPR or a similar type of first aid course in case it is needed by anyone around me. I have no medical training. Is this course recommended for that purpose or should I look somewhere else?
For CPR, there is an classroom portion to teach you how to do CPR and the knowledge behind it. There is also the practicum portion of it as well.

Both are required for CPR certification for all EMS providers in my area.

Doubt that anyone in a medical position has an employer who will accept "lifetime" certification, and there's no way I would trust this enough to give a credit card.

As someone said, good to get hands-on training, but it wouldn't hurt to watch the video in the meantime. Better than doing nothing.

Thanks! I have been wanting to teach the kids some emergency basics this summer and needed to find some good videos to assist. I really appreciate you posting these. Now I just need to find a good source for accurate first aid. If anyone knows any, I'd love your input!

For people working in the hospital, these certs are not from AHA so they won't be accepted in most hospitals. For those who do it for fun, BLS is more than enough.

Couldn't get codes to work. Then tried doing it again and it kept saying 'session expired, go back to homepage' or something like that where you could select the product again and add it to cart. Then the coupon code worked. For some reason the 'facebook free' link just wasn't cutting it.

If you're having issues, try going to the main homepage and adding the regular product to cart, not the facebook free page. Then manually enter the coupon codes.
