They really need to have better return policy. I'm not going to risk $90 restocking fee plus shipping in case I don't like this projector. They've been advertising on this site frequently and I never bite because their return policy sucks.
You an return ANYTHING you buy online using a credit/debit card. Basically it is a Visa/Mastercard policy. Any company that tries some restocking fee on me gets a quick lesson on what a chargeback is. So many companies rely on high shipping fees or restocking fees to try and get you to accept some sub par product because returnin it is a hassle. I don't play that game and neither should you! Even Ebay where they try and say returns not accepted then send out some broken used up thing that they listed as brand new! Nope those games don't work here! Ship it back to the address it came from, make sure you have tracking on the return and open an Ebay case on it. Ebay has to refund you because they know you will chargeback if they don't and chargebacks affect the percent a company pays in future credit card processing fees and they hate that. Usually just threatening a chargeback is enough to get customer service to swing your way.

Does anyone have any feedback on gaming latency, I've gone through a few of the older laser/LED UST projectors and my kids playing FPS always complain and end up dead lol. Currently using a Viewsonic 1080p since it had the lowest latency for gaming a few years ago.
I watched many video reviews about gaming on this projector, and it has bad latency. I noticed many laser projectors have a lot of latency with gaming

Thanks.
Bummer on no warranty. I'm so tempted to buy to replace my JMGO 01 projector because the brightness isn't there.

Thats not entirely accurate. Return policy defaults to whatever the written company policy is. If its ' no return' and on their site your CC company can refuse it ( because reading and comprehension are there to make a decision upfront).

However if the return policy states that return is an option AND one follows the return steps but gets no resolution AND can prove they followed those steps ( emails, etc), then a CC company will dispute the return ( and you will win).

If you've experienced anything more liberal that is up to the CC company ( and issuing bank) and while it may be the right thing to do, they are not legally obligated to do more than what is written on the sellers site on a return.

(Discussing return policy only, not defective items or items not received. Those issues create other dynamics. And yes.... I did work with CC companies and debit companies over 35 years.

No go on fps. Mario kart is tolerable but it won't feel good gaming on this projector.
After owning for 8 months, I love the picture size the most.
You give up saturation compared to an oled, and I wouldn't use it if in direct sun with no light control ( even with my alr ) but if you have blinds you should be fine.

One thing to note is that the native OS doesn't have Netflix on it so you'll need a Roku for that. HDMIeArc for audio is a little finicky at times .

Tradeoffs but great price here. Look for alr screen on Amazon and other places

How is the 3D quality on these projector?
3D is non-existant on this and many other UST projectors.

I needed UST for a new house, and am pretty happy with this as a hold over until I can buy one of the newer Epson models. I got it on one of the sales for $1150 new.

The Android OS blows, and they have supposedly been right around the corner with Android 11 for awhile.

Brightness is good enough, but only ok in daylight even with a ALR screen. Really nice in my living room for daytime we can open blinds, and paired with a floor rising ALR screen it is very unobtrusive.

This is a solid deal at this price. Probably means the triple lasers are even close and they are trying to clear inventory.

Yeah, but irrespective of the return policy, if what you have received is not as promised, you should be able to get a chargeback.

Man, this is tempting because I've got a new house with a perfect home theater room and it's giving me projector fever, but I have a little heartburn about dropping $1k on something that would still fall in the "budget" category.
Ok then, just spend $3k on a triple laser UST then and be happy if going budget is a concern.

I thought you were just guessing, but darn it really does say that - wow - who on earth would buy a refurb with no warranty? I guess some folks like to live dangerously. The only way I'd take a refurb anything with no warranty is if they were giving it away for free, with free shipping!

I have played several hundred hours of fallout and haven't experienced any latency on this projector on my PC with a controller. I'm just a couch gamer that doesn't play competitively but it seems the same as every other tv I've used. I assume if you're an eSport gamer you'd notice latency but do they normally use 120in screens anyway?
