According to reports from Citizen Watches, the solar cells and secondary battery used in Eco-Drive watches will last for up to 10 years.
I have 2 Eco-Drives, 10 and 15 years old, and still going strong.
And unless you're a vampire, even if the battery loses life (mine haven't), just a little bit of sunshine you get during the day will keep it going.

Life would be so much simpler if there were a button to ignore some of the SD users' posts.
