Thanks OP - been waiting for this to come back, since my existing one has a dead internal battery. Trouble is, with a dead internal battery when it goes to trigger the internal chime, the device loses power and reboots. If you turn off the internal chime, it works fine though.

I'll move my existing one to the back door with an external transformer, and use the new one at the front!

Dang missed it - saw it yesterday and didn't pull the trigger. Needed one, mine has been flawless for 3+ years, now fading.
