It doesn't. I brought this for my twins who play AAU and was told the Evo continues to be the gold standard.

Correct. Evo is for indoor only. So this could work for you as an outdoor ball I believe.

Perfect! I was just looking for a cheap ball and didn't want the AND1 garbage balls at this price. MSRP is $46.

Wilson does recommend this ball for outside use where most of us will probably use it.

Never had good luck with Wilson on concrete, I discovered under armor balls, they have been excellent, last at least a year with daily play

The indoor only ball is on sale as well for $28.33 - not the real $300 NBA game ball but ordered to compare to the much more expensive evolution.
