Just saw them in store for $40 (Milford, CT) and I remember it being sold at Costco for $40 for a long time. Am I missing something like it is a different model?

I clean the basket/bin gently with a sponge and put the grate in the dishwasher. Not too bad.

Over time the bin paint gets caked with grease that is extremely diifucult to break up, even with soaking and abrasive cleaners

I've had this for about a year. Decent air fryer which we've used fairly regularly, but after less than a year the non stick surface is mostly flaking off the bottom of the basket. I reached out to their customer support, who claimed that everything is food safe so still usable even with the flaking, but we've since bought a Ninja.

I have been using this for about a year and I can say it is just ok. For the price, I can't complain too much because it does it's job. One thing that does get annoying is that it resets to the default setting (400°, 20 minutes, preheat on) every time. When you plug it in, after finishing cooking, or you push a button to stop it. Also, you can't change the temp or time while it's preheating. You have to turn it off (and it resets to default) and change it.

I've used mine often and never had that problem. I coat the inside tray & pan with oil before every cook to reduce sticking. Anything stuck-on came completely off hand washing using a nylon pad or brush and Dawn.
