I don't actually want any of this but feel like I need to get one in case I need to eventually blend in with this crowd
It's not dependent on location. It's more culture-related. If you are a preppy, middle class person that plays golf or tennis and enjoys a family cruise, this is your brand. If you drive a busted up Honda Civic and have callouses from manual labor, this is not for you.
Good prices, but I'll never buy another item from them...why, you ask?

The tags are on the inside and rest right against my tender, very sensitive "love handles"...I have actually ripped them out and created a hole on the seam while I was out it is so irritating. Virtually all my VV shirts have a 3 inch hole on the left side of the shirt.

Clothing should be tagless, or at least we should be able to easily remove them without anything remaining to irritate the skin.

This brand stopped being "in" back in 2019 when they did a partnership with Target. Maybe it's still a thing in the northeast but here on the west coast it's embarrassingly dorky. The hot brand for the west coast preppies these days is probably Marine Layer.

Interesting. With that said I've seen very little overlap between East and West Coast clothing brand trends. I think VV is still somewhat cool in the Midwest though.

It's a thing in the northeast. I see a lot in Boston and MA area. Not common in Florida tho

It is a 12 dollars shirt, I don't think people are wearing it to be "in" .
