Thank you. I got the email too about the price increase. Good thing there is another deal for the 24 months. I still have another year remainder subscription that I prepaid and gifted myself awhile back. With this additional 24 months I should be good for three years.

My amazon chase card has a chase offer for 20% KU subscription. Max $6. Not huge, but it is a discount.

dang it, should have bought these gift subscriptions earlier, didn't realize the price increase happened already.

anyway, I just happened to let my subscription expire after my previous 6 month gift sub, and I just got an offer for 2 months for $1. I'll probably use the chase offer SRS mentioned, buy the 6 month gift sub, and save it until after my promo term ends. Ends up being cheaper per month than the 12 month. If you have multiple chase cards with the same offer, may be good to get multiple 6 month gift subs and lock in a $9/month price.

Great deal for me, as husband insists on this subscription. About $5 a month less for 24 months!

This deal is still available. Did I miss anything better on Black Friday or Prime Day, etc? Forgot previous 2 year purchase ("only" $6/mo then) expired in December. Not paying $12!

Pretty sure you can't combine this with the Amazon Chase Card deal, but we'll see if it shows up on my purchase.
