And I think we all know you can find cheaper ones. Just make sure it's not so cheap that there is NO safety testing marks. Also, the big draw for buying this one is that there is a 2-3 trillion dollar company that's standing behind in case it burns down your house or fries your device Smilie

Let us know when find one in the box that came with your recent iPhone. If it's the one that came with your ten year old iPhone that's a 5 watt charger.

unless someone returned the fake one to BB, haha. If possible, check the authenticity of the charger by connecting it to a MacBook and look under System Report -> More info -> Power tab and it should list the serial number of the charger. Fake ones shouldn't display the SN (AFAIK)

I know there are reputable companies that make quality chargers that sell for a couple bucks less (and I have them) but one thing I noticed that happens with my iPhones and iPads is that when it reaches 100 with the other chargers, the lightning bolt stays there, while when using the official Apple one, it's not.

To each their own. It's a deal for me, especially if you have rewards from BB due to their stupid nerfing of the rewards program plus free shipping. I don't understand the hate for Apple from non Apple users. Who gives a crap what someone else is using? Why does it bother you so much?
