So far, it's working great! And with Costco's return policy, you can't go wrong. It might be worth getting a membership to get this unit brand new.
Only putting this here because the OP said suggestions welcome.

The only complaint I have with it is the app. It's just not designed well and can be buggy at times but it's not the end of the world cause it comes with a remote.

Unfortunately I did not have the same luck. The units I received were clearly used by some scumbag and returned.
These have a dehumidifier function and while I can't prove this, when I turned both my units on they smelled like dirty water. The best way I could describe it was like someone used them in a moldy flooded basement or something and returned them.
I could tell though that the fan/blowers in these were really powerful and the rotating vents really work awesome to circulate the air.
Just be aware that because these are refurbished, you could receive something like what I got, moldy smell or use in a disgusting smokers house.
I ended up getting the midea ones brand new from costco this year and couldn't be happier. These are really the best design, I even tried the Dandy version and the vent system on that one is not as good as the midea.
Good luck guys!

Note that this draws 1300 watts. Woot/Amazon often seem to skip that crucial information. Your average US room circuit usually caps out at ~1800-2400 watts. Keep that in mind if you're running other appliances nearby. It will definitely be noticeable on your energy bill.
Dual-hose portable AC units are convenient—and far better than single-hose—but they use a lot of juice nonetheless. If you are concerned about your electrical bill, I recommend getting a window AC unit. They are much more efficient and brand new units are quite cheap in comparison to portable ACs.
If your window isn't compatible with a window unit, you can always modify a couple cheap wood panels to hold your window AC unit in place. It might not be the most elegant solution but it's cheap and efficient

The midea unit has a condensate pump, which in theory can pump up as much as 6 ft, so you could go up, over the window sill and outside.
But my unit's condensate pump seemed to be defective, and caused a big leak on my carpet. :/
