Oh, and appliances, too, but they're not worth mentioning since they're so unreliable.

It may not be the best deal people were hoping for, but I see a refurbished S22 Ultra 256gb for a surprisingly low price (lower than refurbished base S22), especially if you trade-in something like Galaxy S8 or any other cheap galaxy phone purchased from Ebay. Link [samsung.com]

Ended up purchasing it for $258 (with tax) after $250 trade-in of S8, which I got on Ebay for $70. Essentially, I paid ~$330, and that's before the CB. Not too shabby.
it shows $40 for a S8 for me.. how are you getting $250?

This is a crazy deal. They had a similar deal the other day but the phone was $649, not $449. Absolutely insane to get the 256gb ultra new-ish for $300 (pay $100 after tax for the phone with s21 trade in, buy cheapest s21 on Amazon for $200)

Good point. Just snagged the S22 Ultra (256) for $160 plus tax after trading in a Note 9 I have laying around for $300 instant credit. Feels pretty reasonable.

I have done about 3 Samsung trade in since 2018.... Every time I hate it. I got rejected twice and had to speak with CSR to get it sorted... I vow to never do these ridiculous trade-in again. Sorry for being the negative voice in this deal
I have traded in 3 phones and 2 watches without a hitch. Maybe I am just a lucky one as others have had the same issue you had.

Hmm, it could be because I logged into Samsung Education Offer Program Store, but it doesn't require verification of any kind for phone purchases, so give it a shot Smilie It's under Offers > Education Offer Program on the desktop version.

Did you actually buy it? I'm guessing you will need to verify via ID.ME before the order goes through.

Samsung never required a verification for phone purchases for me. I think, it only applies to certain categories like laptops or tvs. Here's my breakdown, if that helps.

Those are carrier bill credits. Not a deal at all.
Have done that multiple times earlier with T-mobile.
Pay now and get credit for 24 months. Nothing to lose if you are not jumping carriers.

Best time to exchange S22 ultra to get that sweet sweet S23 ultra
As a s23 ultra user who came from an s21, big jump no matter what the media says. Double the battery life, way faster performance and fingerprint sensor and better cameras. It was expensive, but definitely worth it for me and have no regrets several months later!

For that price I only saw devices with burn-in, and while in the past I was able to successfully trade-in such device, and their trade-in policy doesn't mention burn-in as a red flag, I'd steer away from such devices to avoid any potential hassle later on.

Nope, just used my regular gmail account and got into education store via desktop browser, as I always do for the past few years, when buying phones.
