Oh, and appliances, too, but they're not worth mentioning since they're so unreliable.

How is this better compare to AT&T.

AT&T trade is giving $1000 for ZFold 3 and if we buy S23U 256gb it going to cost $5 per month for 36 months... so total its going to be around $200 where as we are paying $540 upfront for unlocked with Samsung????

I think AT&T offer is better ...what you think.
Bill credits are a completely different realm. It's pretty much a contract. You're paying the same in the end via higher priced wireless service.

Why "higher priced wireless service"?
I've been with AT&T service for over 20 years. AT&T deal is much better for AT&T customers.

seems like the older BB promo for the S22 with trade in was much better. Hopefully they roll that one back out again for the S23 in fall.

I am in the same boat. But, a diff device - flip 3, I buy $100 cheaper at ebay and get 100 less in trade in. But, it won't be an easy sell and ebay charges about 14% on the entire transaction including tax. So, the net will be around 680 and this is the best scenari...

RAK currently has 12%. PayPal is otherwise offering 7% through their honey affiliation. Don't believe both are stackable, edited my post to reflect that.
They are if you activate the offer via Paypal and pay with PayPal

I was searching for Samsung in PayPal it wouldn't let me save, only navigate through the portal. I guess you have to manually find it PayPayl's list of vendors to add to your account. Needless to say I was able to cancel the initial order and resubmit with both CBs applied. Thanks.

Will wait for a Best Buy Samsung promo. Samsung played dirty last time I did a trade-in with them. Tried to recover my money making a claim through my credit card but my card sided with Samsung which made me mad because I provided all the evidence in advance and Samsung responded claiming things that I proved were not true with the evidence I provided, like saying I didn't ship the item back and I provided the tracking from Fedex showing that they received it and signed for it. But still my credit card sided with them. Stopped using that credit card and I will think it 6 or 10 times before doing trades with Samsung again.

These trade-in deals are best if you're going from a lower end phone to a higher end one, or to the next years version of the same phone (ex. S22 to S23). I have a Fold 4, and I'll have to pay something if I want to downgrade to an S23. It's only really helpful if I want to upgrade to a Fold 5 later.
At the other end of this, there is not even a trade in option for s23, I wanted to give towards the fold or s23 ultra

If you video the whole process at FedEx, you don't have to worry about things like this. I capture the serial number, screen powered on/off, boxing, and hand off to employee. Easy peasy.
