Guys I'm an expert in seeing reoccurring deals on this 2TB drive. They keep on lowering the price but more recently by $1 each time. I'm predicting this will be $70.99 from Newegg this coming week.
Got the 1TB version from B&H last year for 53, it's a perfectly average reliable SSD

I have a 500gb SSD that is my windows/boot drive, and a 2tb platter drive from previous machines that I worry is probably 10 years old and will likely fail soon, so I am very tempted to replace it with an SSD. I was hoping for < 100, and have seen a few, but < $75, I have to bite!

Good for storage. Not I wouldn't use QLC for an installation drive though.
Why??

Most people would have no noticeable issues with this drive. If you don't know if QLC is good enough for your need then it's probably is 🤣

QLC store more cheaper but are slower in the read / Wright category and don't typically last as long iirc. TLC are basically opposite, more expensive, store less, faster read / wright speeds and are more durable.
How is qlc in reed/right though?

Waiting for the comment for holding the line 😀.

We should expect the lower price from NewEgg coming😀.

I have an Asustor AS6702T. Is this drive good for very occasional data backup? I already have 2 HDDs that constantly write since I use them as surveillance recording.

Anyone found a cheap external NVME TB4 enclosure that's not $100-$140?

You are right. The price of this market has not hit rock bottom yet.
I predicted $35 per TB would come within this summer, but we are already seeing this price. I think the manufacturers are walking on eggshells..

Is this a good deal guys? I've got the Sk.Hynix P41 Platinum as my Gen 4 drive and looking for general use / backup drive. $73 looks pretty tempting
