There are some real dum-dums who write Amazon reviews, though. Very possible they didn't wash them in the top as instructed, or even if they did, they turned on some extreme turbo heated dry setting that their dishwasher manual clearly says to never turn on if you're washing anything plastic. I see two one-star reviews complaining about melting and six four-to-five-star ratings that say they held up fine in the dishwasher.
