Why do they sell Nespresso pods when they have their own Lavazza "expert" pod based espresso machine? I have the Lavazza Expert and the pods are quite expensive.

Why wouldn't they? There's no patent left on the Nespresso Originaline pods, so they can sell them and not pay Nespresso a penny. The problem is their Nespresso pods are no good, whereas their proprietary system gets very good reviews.

DO NOT BUY - these are terrible in taste. I just received an order from Amazon and the Lungo is so diluted and tasteless, I can describe it as being between a tea and pee. Amazingly NOT GOOD coffee ,it is a waste even given for free.
