Because Nvidia rolls out all the top end desktop GPUs before rolling out mid/low-end in order to prod people with more money than sense who can't wait to overpay for their top-end overpriced GPUs.

Laptop makers are different, since they buy chips months in advance in order to build them into their systems, and usually power and thermal design dictate which GPU goes into which laptops, not impulse/impatience buying.

Omen17 is a bit too large/heavy.
I believe the 2022 Legion 5 (3070ti) should have sames ports as this 5Pro.
Gaming performance should be lacking 3070 Ti (https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...o-5i-gen-8. It also shows battery life is quite a drop compare to 2022 Legion 5.

That's what I thought but its been a few days and nothing so far. I emailed RK and they said they emailed Lenovo for confirmation but it will take 10 to 45 days.

Thinking of just canceling the order and reordering it. I probably missed up somewhere.
