Some perspective here:
Sam's Club is $14.78 for a 40 ct at $0.369 per bar and correctly doesn't charge tax in Texas
Amazon is $16.77 after 10% S&S 20% coupon at $0.349 per bar and incorrectly charges tax in Texas ($0378 per bar)

"Snack items are not taxable when sold in prepackaged units containing more than one individual-sized package, such as a box of six prepackaged, individual-sized bags of chips."

When I was dieting to lose my college fat I ate these for dessert after warming them in the microwave with a glass of almond milk. They're pretty small but really fill that brownie craving unlike some other healthy alternatives. And these are really cheap compared to what other brands are producing and selling.

I used to LOVE these. They used to be a sweet treat that had the added benefit of some fiber. They were actually pretty GOOD. When the boxes changed to the navy blue, the recipe changed...significantly for the worse.

One of the biggest marketing ploys ever pulled on the consumer: "Low Calorie".

Have you ever unwrapped the contents of a bag of chips, granola bars, or other single-serving items?

The product inside is pathetically small, and they conventionally charge such a premium price. Now with the dieting crazes everywhere they can get away with giving even less under the guise of "low calorie".

Agree they used to be much better. I am not going to buy these. Sometimes buy the cinnamon ones though.

This pretty much applies to everything now, low calorie or not. This is why I rarely buy Frito-Lay snacks anymore. I just can not get past paying over ten dollars a pound for chips.

One time I was feeling snacky and ate four of them. Can confirm this is accurate.
