Nike has Men's Vaporfly 2 [nike.com] road racing shoes for as low as $119.98 when using 20% off code CAMPNIKE.

Colorways at $120 ($150 - 20% code):
$120 Barely Volt/Hyper Orange/Volt/Black (CU4111-700)
$120 Black/Hyper Violet/Football Grey/Flash Crimson (CU4111-002)

Other colorways start at $175, before code, making them $140. MSRP is $250, but the new VF3's are out, hence the discounts.

Kudos to daisybeetle here, for the general CAMPNIKE code post. And here as well for her Peg 39 specific post.

if you're just a casual runner and don't run in competitive races, these aren't for you.
Hmmm.... I definitely run slower then sub-6 miles, and they still work for me.
Most of the prior gen shoes have been cleared out, with Saucony already dumping their Endorphin Pro 2s. Nike's doing it with the VF2s here. I'm kicking myself for not getting another EP2 last December for under $50. That was insane. I don't expect to see that for these Nikes, so this is a good time to buy these. I'm happy with the $110 price on the VF2 after code and CB. I never scored the rare outlet store price of $99 like some people have over the past months. My outlet refuses to discount them down like that.

I got 4 pairs of the endorphin pros under $50…. Still working through those, best deal!

I've got a shoe problem that also includes the "super shoes." I just ran a marathon in the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 and a 10k in the Nike Vaporfly 2. (I also have a pair of Adidas Prime X Strung on the way) If you are looking to give a "super shoe" a try, this is a great deal. The upper of the Saucony is way more comfortable than the Nike, but it's not on sale for the price of a daily trainer either. I will also say that the Endorphin Pro is like ice skating on any pavement that is remotely wet, i.e. the water stations in the marathon. I did not have the same issues with the Nike, but the main reason for using the Saucony on the longer run was the fit.

Ant these consider cheating to wear in a pro race? Since they are so efficient at "return" energy.
Sure, they can be considered "cheating", but they're not banned

If I didn't already own 2 (for $150 each), I would jump on these. Also Pegasus 39 for $60 for a simple daily trainer is a great deal.

Almost pulled the trigger but I usually run in mizunos and find those $50 on eBay new. Doubt the shoes make that much of difference with training
You should try for yourself. Nike allows you to return them within 60 days, even if you run in them. They made a difference for me.

Degenerative lumbar spine + torn hip labrum = difficulty running. These are the only shoes that I've found that I can continually run in comfortably, day after day. Mostly 3-5 mile runs, less frequent 15+ milers. 350+ miles per pair. Other carbon plate shoes may apply, too, just haven't found them as comfortable as these.

So, I disagree. Each to their own.

For people thinking about a carbon plated shoe, this is a great buy. I have tried many-many shoes (Adidas Adios Pro 1 & 2, Endorphin Pro 1 & 3, RC Elite 1 & 2, Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro, Puma Deviate Nitro Elite, Adidas Prime X Strung, Nike Alphafly, NB TC, and NB SuperComp Trainer) and always come back to the Vaporfly Flynit, VF Next %1 & 2. Assuming you are a neutral runner I have found that these give the best blend of protection, road feel, and propulsion. As a rear-foot striker, I prefer these over the Alphaflys (lower drop). I do tend to wear out the lateral heel after about 100 miles and retire the shoes between 150-200 miles. Some people get more mileage out of them. The other shoes also work well for training miles (Strung, Wave Rebellion Pro, Endo Pro 3), track days and short races (Puma). But, don't have the versatility of the Nike Vaporfly.
