My son's PC stopped working. Replaced the power supply. Replaced the motherboard. Replaced the CPU. Replaced the memory. Replaced the video card. Disconnected the USB header for the front panel and it finally started up. Apparently there is a short inside the USB port and that totally prevents the computer from even attempting to boot up!
I would tactfully swiss cheese the front panel if i was gonna keep the glass on.
the design here is questionable to say the least, your basically sealed up on 4 out of 5 sides
But if I needed a case I'd probably jump at this and mod it as need be

do you mean the motherboard's FPanel? or the case's front panel?
if your in that situation you just touch the 'power SW' on the motherboard with a screwdriver to make sure the issue isn't with the case. Very easy and safe thing to do, standard operation https://linustechtips.com/topic/1...tion-help/
