It is free to play, but not really f2p in the way most people think of it. It's a full-on game (albeit a short one) with no microtransactions or anything like that. I believe the developers can't charge for it because it was a student project or something like that, but it's better than a lot of paid games. It's kind of like Hades or Binding of Isaac with a Metroidvania twist. It's a great game that I would have happily paid for. It's also free on Steam btw. Great on SteamDeck.

I'm so annoyed at all the posters posting already permanent free games. If it was a paid for game which was temporary free to keep forever, it would be a different story.
