Eh. Not that great of a deal.

My local Dollar Tree (which happens to be right next door to the Wal-Mart) has a Sunbeam 4-pack for $1.25.

The specs listed on the box for the Sunbeam-branded bulbs:
  • 800 lumen
  • 9.5W
  • 15000-hour rated life
  • Dimmable
  • Color is 3000K

By all measures, the Sunbeam's a better bulb: longer rated life, better lumen/watt ratio, dimmable (says so on the box, but I didn't have any dimmable lamps to test with), and for a few cents less per bulb.

Oh, and the box also says, "suitable for enclosed fixtures" and "suitable for damp locations".
Is the 4 Bulbs for $1.25 only an in-store deal? On the website it is $1.25 for 1 bulb - https://www.dollartree.com/soft-w...lbs/299788

I would not recommend these, we bought a dozen for our house and ten have burned out, and it has been one year.

Thank you. For $4.29 with tax I do not care if they last me one year or five. Generally at night in our entire home we only have one LED light in our living room turned on.

LED supposed to last for quite a long time. These not so much. Even though it's dirt cheap not worth the money since you'll be wasting time changing the bulbs in under a year

It's probably a very regional deal subsidized by the local power company. I've never seen Sunbeam standard LED bulbs at my Dollar Trees, let alone in a 4 pack.

I bought GV bulbs last year and they broke in 3 months. I noticed this line on the base of bulb: "not for totally enclosed fixtures". Yes I used them in totally enclosed fixtures.
Most cheap bulbs say that.
Protip: If using in an enclosed fixture and its such where you can't really see the bulb itself when it is on, pop off the plastic 'dome' part (assuming the bulbs aren't glass like the Feit ones)..it will help dissipate a lot of the heat.

Great deal. My entire house has these 5000K bulbs. Unfortunately, they do not last though they guarantee them for several years, so I always keep a box spare at home. In 4 one.
Same with me. Never lasted for 5 years. some went out in an year, some kept flickering and i end up throwing them away

This. People who use daylight bulbs for lighting up living rooms, bedrooms etc. are the same kind of savages who face toilet paper toward the wall!
