We had so many problems with our Samsung fridge. Every repair guy that came out (and there were many) recommended never buying a Samsung. I've known several others who have bought one, and they agree

Buy extended warranty. Samsung is no better. They do not stand behind their product for some reason.

I bought a Samsung stainless steel french-door fridge from a neighbor in 2010 and it's been ever running since. I recently transported it 150 miles to give to my brother and it's still going strong.

I replaced it with another Samsung fridge and hope I have the same experience.

I was told by repairmen that LG has never been a call and samsung and such was always called for repairs.

I have a Samsung bespoke fridge since January, the only issue I have so far is the center door flapper doesnt engage. I need to adjust the height of the doors for it catch the groove (easy fix), other than that its been flawless. The internal water pitcher is super clutch and really smart innovation, it has an infuser inside the pitcher so you can place whatever fruit or herb you want in it.

Also, dont forget about the free extra panel rebate/promo Samsun is running. Get another set of colors to dress up your fridge! https://www.samsung.com/us/shop/p...promotion/

This is a Samsung fridge.. not the same.

LG changed their compressor, and my last LG lasted 12 yrs.. ​

We just got ours delivered yesterday. The lack of handles is a bit of a change, as well as the beverage center inside, and ice in the freezer. So far though, its very nice. Last fridge was a Whirlpool Gold (GI7FVCXWY01). I'm going to miss the automeasure/fill water dispenser, but I'm not going to miss the terrible ice maker, door rust, and constant compressor shutoffs.

I'm hoping we can get as much life out of this new fridge as we got out of the old one. I think for the price this is definitely the nicest one you can get right now, barring any reliability issues

I just want to point out that the secondary refrigerator is still $90. Not quite free.

Buy whatever brand you want. Every brand is going to give you grief. Buy the extended warranty, hopefully, you can be as fortunate as we were and get every penny back when your brand is faulty 3 or more times for the same item and your state's lemon laws can be utilized.

Probably why I will not buy the Sansung/LG combo.

I was looking to get a nicer looking (my current fridge is whie) Stainless fridge to replace my current Whirlpool of 22 years. Then again, it's 22 years and no problems. I think I'll stick with it.​

Same fridge, same issue with the flapper. Getting it fixed this this week. Other than that so far so good, and just got recently got the free extra panels. Great fridge for the price when it's on sale!
