"Please note a restocking fee of 15% of the purchase prices may be charged"

How often do they actually charge the restocking fee?

I just bought one of these two weeks ago and returned it. I think they are all old FedEx laptops. Mine was pretty beat up, in 'B' condition.

The laptop also did not have a partition to reinstall Windows. I messed around in the BIOS for about an hour, had our software engineer look at it for an hour, and we both determined there was no version of Windows on the PC.

Ultimately, I returned it the next day and I'm still looking for a new work laptop...

Other threads say the Bs can be hit or miss.

Some look good and some have lots of scratches and crumbs in the keyboard and stuff like that.

I picked up a 5540 touch with grade A for $461 after 45% off. Should be delivered tomorrow and see what condition that it is in. Hopefully no thermal issues. It has newer CPU and graphic card. Will be using it for engineering drawings.

I oredered one Grade B about 2-3 weeks back. Visually, It was more of a Grade C, however I noticed one of the screws at the bootom had a brocken socket. The loose screw is something I was not willing to accept. Initiated a return and Dell offered a replacement. It took another few days to get the replacement. The replacement Grade B was in a better condition, however when setting up Win i could not connect to WiFi .. why ? Half of the keyborad keys were not working. Returned that one as well and I'm so done with Dell Refurbished.

Bought a Grade B from this website a couple months ago. It was nearly flawless, the back lid was perfect, the screen was fantastic, and the led keyboard was is perfect working order. If I had to fault it, and this is really nit picking, the track pad had some minor wear.

These laptops are used so if you end up buying one, you must go thru it. Check the WASD keys, play a movie and carefully look at the screen for dead pixels and bright spots. As some have stated buying grade b can be hit or miss. Mine was a hit and I have no regrets.

I did a Window's battery report and found my battery was less than 80% its original battery. I emailed customer service, and gave them the widows battery report, to my surprise they sent another battery with 90% charge for free.

Not the best graphics, but maybe okay for this price range. Great screen. If you really care about gaming, spend a bit more.

It should get a bit below the GTX 1050 performance: https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVI...710.0.html

All GPU comparisons: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Mob...844.0.html
This source is MUCH better than Passmark.

WOW. I've had great experiences with Dell Refurbished, always "like-new". But it's been a few years for me.
