Rx6600 is better for the same price
-8 gb vram

-25-30 less watts usage
-4%-10% faster

On paper yes but there are also some people who would want / 'need' an Nvidia card. Decent price for that group. I personally couldn't care less but realize my use case isn't the only use case.

I just want to know where this cards appeared from. Someone got fired for losing this stock during the GPU bubble only to find them now....

They were still making 2060 dies up until late 2022. These are also probably not favorably binned dies so that's why it's in an SC card.

As for 'needing' NVIDIA, this would make a good workstation card but if it's earning you money bumping up to a 3060 for $100-150 would do that NVIDIA feature set a whole lot better in measurably/profitably shorter time.

I'd love to go with a faster GPU but I only have a 400 watt gold power supply (HP custom for their desktop pavilion gaming series) running my RX 5500. Seems like the PSU is not upgradeable, except maybe to their 500 watt custom version in the higher end pre-builts of that same series (but I've read it's almost impossible to get one of those powers supplies on its own)… This 2060, the 6600 or something else, what's the fastest GPU you all think I could safely run if upgrading the PSU to 500 watt is not an option? 2x16 ram / 250gb sshd / 5600G CPU / HDMI out to 75" 4K tv / no disk drives, etc, just wi-fi and Bluetooth with 3 peripherals (wireless keyboard, mouse and Switch Pro controller).

HP does make larger wattage psu for desktops just have the find the model. Also you can get adapters to use a standard atx psu for an HP mobo just have to find the right one and put in a new case.
