Buy another 20 bags when the sale is active, and before you leave the store, just return using your old receipt.

You probably got a lot better deal, too. 30 yards of this stuff would be over $800.

I have rubber mulch around my pool. I wouldn't ever use rubber mulch in an actual garden bed. Wood mulch biodegrades and enriches the soil over time. Rubber mulch just leeches chemicals into the ground and is messy. I hate it.

Another problem I have had with rubber mulch is it heats up in the sun much more than the wood mulch, sometimes even killing saplings

It's rubber, I'm sure it does last longer. But why you want rubber in your garden, I do not know.
Rubber just provides way more traction than wood. My 60ft times with my wooden slicks were terrible, once I switched over to rubber I've never looked back. I assume this same drag strip veracity holds true in the garden.

You are paying for a bag of garbage. I just read many recent comments about the quality of mulch in these bags on Home depot website, not wasting my money on this.

You sure you belong here? If my math is right, 10 yards would be 135 bags or $270. So you are cool paying $730 in labor for a day of work? Now don't get me wrong, everything has a price but why even come in this thread to say that?
Because... Internet flex!

Same traction can be achieved with rubber soles, a deal on rubber boots would be sweeter overall (I hesitate to use slick in this context). With normal wood mulch the natural decomposition process that slowly feeds the plants over years would be in effect as well as opposed to "perennial" shredded tires. Win-win.

Now the cheapest mulch overall would probably be wood branches from your own property which you shred yourself with a shredder/mucher instead of burning or hauling away; wood is free aside from elbow grease, and of course the upfront cost of the shredder/mulcher, about $100 which would be good investment.

that would be 400+ bags. why would you rather have bags?
Yeah in that volume you had better be using bulk and moving it around with a tractor. When you're talking about 20 or 30 bags, I prefer bags.

Was hoping to add (65-75 bags or a pallet) to cart on HD website for delivery but no "Add/Buy" button on either Chrome or Safari. Is this a in store only deal? I am in DC/MD area.

Yes but you need several inches of depth. Best is to first spray what's alive, then put down landscape fabric, then put down mulch.

It always last longer way longer than regular mulch. However, as you know its very priecy. My nxt step is to get rubber mulch for my flower beds.
Sorry if you've been told this in dozens of replies, but you should not use rubber mulch in beds where you grow stuff! Natural mulch helps hold moisture for your plants and over time will also decompose and provide nutrients. The rubber mulch could kill your plants, and definitely will not help the soil over time.
