I bought one a couple years ago for $500. It's held up well and does fine with moderate wind. I sprayed mine with a weather/UV coating. Not sure if it's helped much, but there's been no fading or dry rotting of the fabric so far. $250 is a great price for this.
Did you spray on the pole, too?

I see this one with Sunbrella fabric for $250 as well. Any thoughts?

Wow. placed a pickup order for that one instead. Everything else looks exactly the same except the fabric. Instruction manual are identical except for name/manufacture. But pictures and parts are exactly the same. Also diff fabric warranty, 5 years instead of 2. Def seems a better deal.

I bought one of these last week. Looks like I'll be going to the store tomorrow to see if they'll adjust the price.

Good deal but some negative reviews regarding durability.
We had ours for about three years. Pretty good quality and withstood the AZ heat, however two major issues. If the cord breaks that expands the shade then you pretty much need to send it to the landfill. We tried a fix that took almost a day as the cord is fished through many different tubes and mechanisms. The fix only lasted a few months. And the base that holds in the sandbags is difficult to keep together. as it comes in mutiple interlock pieces. And make sure you place it where you want it as moving it is quite difficult.

This, about the cord. We've had ours for 4-5 years and it just snapped last summer. To salvage it, I drilled through the tube, stuck a metal rod through the two holes. Tie loops with knots on each end of a 6-8" piece of rope. I had one of my kids hold the center of the umbrella up while I attached one loop to the rod, went under the center piece of the umbrella, and hooked it onto the other side of the rod. Obviously it's a pain to put up and down now, but at least I salvaged it.

Showing as $600 for me. Too bad. That looked like a steal at $250 with Sunbrella fabric.
