Looks like the 256Wh is LiFePO4, while the 512Wh is the older type supporting fewer charge cycles.

Not cheap enough IMHO...especially not knowing if you are getting an older battery that maybe sat for a while not charged...or fully charged LOL.

Debating this and the bluetti eb3a @$170. Eb3a has a pure sine wave inverter, this ecoflow doesn't say that so assuming it's a simulated. Anyone have any comparison input on these?

Just get Bluetti at $160 https://www.ebay.com/itm/134331496960 Smilie
IMO pure sine wave is overrated. Most electronic devices will have switching power supply and that rectifies AC to DC first step, does not matter what kind of power you give as long as it is between 70 and 250V. Only matters ​for AC motors and some transformers.

What makes you pick the Bluetti over the River 2? The main differences I see are a slightly higher capacity (268Wh vs 256Wh), higher surge power (1200W vs 600W), pure sine wave, and a light. However, they are both refurb units and the River 2 has a 5 year warranty vs 2 year on the Bluetti. Are the extra features on the Bluetti worth losing 3 years of warranty?
