So does google, and the U.S. government. Who cares man, what are you going to do? Live under a rock with a single core pc running windows 95 while watching movies you loaded through your analog vcr onto your local network hard drive? Or do you wanna GAME, Minecraft 4k RTX ON 240 fps?

Because there are people who would rather pay less and get a cheaper screen and use this with external monitor. You can get the same exact laptop with 500nit screen, you just need to click on customizable option on Lenovo site and choose it
Let's guess, does American government have more data about China or Chinese government have more data of American? I'm not even saying American government has literally any data of any country lol.
I got the same deal 1519.00 a couple of days ago after I chatted with lenovo and asked for price matching, and they lower the price.
Good deal. Did you call or contact via online chat? Any specific points to get a lower price? My order is way delayed and when I called their customer support, I just got the run around (call another number, email another department etc.) and no resolution..

I highly doubt anyone buying this laptop cares about the $30 charge for the 500 nit screen regardless of if they are using an external monitor or not. This is strictly a cost cutting by Lenovo hoping people don't notice or care. For what they charge for the upgrade I don't even know why 300 nit is an option. My prebuilt LPro5 with the 5800H/3070 has a 500 nit display. That was from the Walmart $1400 deal a few years ago. Even with gaming on another monitor this screen is glorious. Customizing it you're not only paying $30 for the screen, you're paying $1,803.00 for the same system. That's awful.
Edit: With the code it's $1,712.85.
